This section will give details on the areas you visit in Metal Gear Solid 4.

Little is known about the locations which the player will play in during the course of Metal Gear Solid 4, but we do know from this years E3 trailer that part of it will be set in the Middle East [Outer Heaven's base, where Ocelot/Liquid is]. This is also confirmed by Hideo Kojima in a resent OPM interview. Kojima also explained how the trailer was made to look like it was all in one place (The Middle East) when in actual fact it wasnt. He states that he did this to poke fun at the fans...Sly of him. So this confirms more places than the Middle East, what these places are we dont know. We'll update as soon as we can.

The Middle East

Looking at the trailer the surrounding area, style of clothing the soldiers wear and even hinted by the guns they carry (AK's) this place has to be the Middle East. Half way through the 15 minute trailer Campbell confirms that "Liquid has made his move in the Middle East". It seems to be a hot, dry, arid land with many-a derelict building around. The city they are in itself appears to be a constant warzone taking masses damage from the men firing and the Metal Gears rampaging through the city streets.
