After Kojima spoke out and said Metal Gear Solid 4 could not all fit on a 50GB Blu-Ray Disc and things had to be compressed, people assumed that the game will be on one anyway. Konami has today confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be the first Playstation 3 game to use a 50GB disc, and is now the largest console game in terms of disc space usage.
On the Kojima Productions Podcast, Ryan Payton stated that respective versions of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will not have the Japanese / Other language track due to space restrictions.
"Unfortunately because of disc space, we don’t have the space to include other languages, other voice over files for the respective versions.
So the Japanese version’s not gonna have English voiceover, and the North American and European versions won’t have Japanese voiceover."
To all you fans and to the people who created the hideo kojima game metal gear solid 4 im asking if you can try making this game for playstaton2 please i love this i know everything about snake his life is past ive played part 1 2 3 but i really what to play part 4 and a lot of others do and my parents wont buy me a playstation3 so kojima please this is your biggest fan and im hoping you agree with me I love this game!!!!! please make it for playstation 2 Sincerely Bekim Shpati.
I can´t really imagine how Konami wanted to put 50 GB space on a DVD. Because of this reason ( 50 GB space using ) there will be no XBOX 360 version of this game.
